Popular Wedding Photo Locations

Gatlinburg & the Smoky Mountains

Iconic mountain backdrops, wildflower meadows, and scenic overlooks make the Gatlinburg area ideal for wedding photography. We know the permit process, seasonal lighting, and best-kept scenic spots.

Knoxville Weddings

Modern venues, historic estates, and beautiful parks around Knoxville provide elegant backdrops. Urban and natural light shines beautifully in Knoxville locations.

Johnson City Weddings

Rolling Tennessee hills, historic riverside venues, and charming downtown settings offer character and warmth. Johnson City is a growing wedding destination with genuine, scenic appeal.

Asheville & Western North Carolina

Mountain grandeur, romantic gardens, and artistic venues in Asheville create stunning visual stories. WNC wine country and vineyard settings are increasingly popular for celebrations.

What Happens If It Rains (and Other Weather Plans)

Mountain weather is unpredictable, and we plan for it. If light rain is expected, we prep clear umbrellas and find covered or sheltered spots for beautiful, romantic photos. For severe weather or unsafe conditions, we work with you to reschedule your session or find an indoor alternative. We monitor forecasts closely and communicate backup options well in advance. Your comfort, safety, and photos remain our top priority.

When to Book Your Wedding Photographer

We recommend booking 6–12 months in advance. Peak season typically runs September through November, with October being especially popular due to fall foliage and ideal weather. Our dates fill quickly during this time. If you're planning a summer, winter, or spring wedding, you often have more flexibility, but early booking ensures we're available for your preferred date and can provide the attention your celebration deserves.

Looking for elopement services? We also offer full-service Smoky Mountain elopement planning with photography, videography, and officiant services combined.

How far in advance should we book our wedding photographer?

We recommend booking at least 6–12 months in advance, especially if you are planning a September–November wedding. Peak season dates fill quickly, and we take only a limited number of weddings each year to ensure the highest quality and personal attention.

Do you travel outside the Smoky Mountains?

Yes. We serve East Tennessee and Western North Carolina, including Gatlinburg, Knoxville, Johnson City, Asheville, and surrounding areas. We also travel to other regions—just ask.
